Well, after almost three years since the journey I've finally gotten 'round to the task of editing video from my November, 2008 trip to India. I've had a blast looking through all the footage to see what I could use and I thought I'd start with the crazy ride from Delhi to Agra to see the Taj Mahal simply because it was so much fun, has a built-in soundtrack for much of it and, well, it's the Taj Mahal!! The video has been edited with iMovie with additional editing help from Videator and GarageBand though my plan is to do some more elaborate editing of this and the remaining video with Apple's Final Cut. But first I wanted to challenge myself to make the most of iMovie before I moved on and I found it easy to use but still quite limited. Can't wait to dig into FC. I tried to make the footage I had as entertaining and informative as possible without overdoing voiceovers and titles while providing as much local flavor in what you see and hear as I could. I hope I succeeded!
