10 years to the day since the last time I was in Seoul. Same Hotel too! Some things haven't changed a bit. Seoul is a thriving metropolis of 22 million. If you are looking for luxury accomodations, you can't go wrong with the Hyatt, Marriott, "W", or the Shilla hotels. The Hyatt is located just above Itaewon, wich is an energettic area close to all of the embassies. Consequently, there it is a mixing pot of many nationalities in this area. There is very convenient shopping here, as well as many bars and restaurants. Also close to the Seoul tower from which you can get an impressive view of the city and the Hahn river which bisects it. Unfortunately, it is frequently too hazy to appreciate the view.
