I've spent most of my time since getting back to Burlington building this green thing. That is the fuselage of the aircraft we have been prototyping. It was just removed from the mold (which can been seen in the background - the big white tube sorta thing.) The bulge at the top will be cut out and a windscreen formed to take it's place. The green squares that are visible are the foam core between layers of fibre glass. The engine mount and firewall will be placed just aft of the large opening at the front. The white line running longitudinally is the seam line where both halves of the fuselage were bonded together. The other main parts (wings, tail sections, control surfaces) are at the designer's shop, waiting to be bonded together and painted. Hopefully it'll be in the air soon!
