Meena's baby, unamed because she is wild, still comes around the feeding area for the odd banana. This footage got blurry because Ucok, the alpha male orangutan and likely the baby's father, chased us away. Meena is not any friendlier--mistreated as a youngster, she now hates people, and is known to attack them. On the day this was taken, she attacked a guide on his first day on the job, almost strangling him to death. He went to the hospital and received about 20 stitches in his neck.
