Returning to the hotel at the end of my walk, I pass this lovely statue of a woman looking out to sea with a gull on her outstretched hand. There is a park bench nearby, so I sit and experience the feelings, and snap this photo while seated. I love the protective sense of the lightpost and the railing, yet the sense of freedom and limitless possibilities conveyed by the statue and the background.
