As we left the hotel to walk to dinner after the mountain tour, a guy with a food cart was coming down the alley. We saw that he had bugs and decided to give them a try. Ian bought a helping of the bamboo worms because we all agreed they looked the least, um, buggish. Turns out they weren't bad at all. They are crunchy and very salty. I assume they are roasted and are very light, like puffed potato chips.
