It is located on northern slopes of Belasica Mountain, in the lower course of Smolarska River, right tributary of Strumica River, at 600 m above the sea level. The total height of the vertical section of Smolari Waterfall is 39,5 meters in length. The Waterfall is characterised with tectonic predisposition, with stratified structure laying transversally onto the direction of water flow in Smolarska River. A giant pot has been formed on the bottom of the waterfall, the length of which in the River's water flow direction is 5 meters, width 11 meters and depth ranges between 0,5 and 0,7 meters.
