LOVE your photos, and the details of your writings. Your pics make me want to go back to Strasbourg and Reims (particularly to the cathedrals) and take more pictures, of the the photo ops I missed, AND, do the self-guided audio tour:-) I absolutely LOVE the Alsace and Champagne Regions (have visted more times between the two of them than you are years old:-) and have not captured on film some of the shots you have (esp for just one visit)...impressive! By the way, what kind of camera are you using?
Thanks for the kind words! Someday I hope to have chalked up as many trips to France as it sounds like you have taken. It is very inspiring artistically, and I tend to see things there that I wouldn't always see in other places. It helps to have a good camera, too. It's only a point and shoot (Panasonic DMC-ZR1), but it has a Leica lens and 8x optical zoom. That's how I got up on the ledge with these angels.
