I am going on my first mission trip with AGLC. I have been on mission type trips in the past, but never out of the country. I love getting out and helping people. It is my joy to "hear their story". I have been working on my Spanish...will it be good enough for me to understand...I hope so! I am very blessed to be able to join the Amazing Grace group on this mission trip. I pray that God will be with us, keep us safe, and give us opportunities to share the love of Jesus with the people whose lives we will touch. Whereas I have worked with Habitat for Humanity in the past, I do not have any specific building skills. That said, I feel that God has given me the gift of being able to listen and follow directions. (Don't ask my wife that about me... :-0) Give me a task, tell me how to do it, and let me go.

Steve, you will be a blessing to so many in Guatemala, others who are there as mission servants, and those who reside in the community. las bendiciones a usted durante su viaje en Guatemala! Surprise...my computer translates into Spanish...and you thought I'd been studying just as hard, or harder than you! Joy to you!
Hi Steve! Thank you for setting up this wonderful travel blog. We look forward to being updated on everything our Lord has for you and the team to do. We missed your voice in choir this morning. We wish you and the entire team God's blessings as you bless others in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Steve, we look forward to keeping up with the "crew" through your blog, thank you. I bet that swim was a real highlight after a hard days work. I'm sure the kids enjoy your taking time to spend with them, you're a natural.
What a bonding experience in so many ways, and between you brothers as well. So happy that your brother is also your great friend. How many people can say this? Not many, I suppose. Blessings to you as you toil for the Lord. As you are a blessing to others, you will bring their blessing home to us! By the say, I hear this retired fellow bought a bunch of acres south of The Villages and will have peach trees that are hybrids as they are crossed with nectarines. Look forward to May pickin!
