This is my first mission trip with AGLC. I have worked with Habitat in New Orleans and I was also the champion for Thrivent Builds for our former church, Immanuel Lutheran, in Loveland, CO. I hope that our mission will show our love for God. I have had some building experience such as finishing our basement in MN. and helping my son finish his basement in WY. I am sometimes a take charge kind of guy. I pray that God will give me patience to listen and follow whatever directions I am given. It's also a joy to see these homes take shape and the joy the people who receive them express. May our travels be safe.

I have been selected by Pastor Rockey to be your prayer partner. What a privilege to be lifting our AGLC mission partners and you specifically up in prayer. You have been sent on our behalf to bring the Gospel through Word and deed to those who may not know Jesus. May your words and deeds give testimony to what God has done through Christ's life, death and resurrection. May God be praised as you reach out in love to share Christ!
You will continue in my prayers for a safe, productive and enjoyable experience with your partners in the Gospel from AGLC.
May God be with you and bless your service to Him.

Jerry, may you have much joy and experience great spiritual blessings on this mission trip. Just drink in God's powerful Word in your team devotions, and bask in the glory of His love as you share it with others, and they, in return, share it with you. Keeping you and Ruth in prayer during this mission trip...
We had our final "One Month to Live" study tonight. We the theme, "Living With No Regrets". Sometimes we get so bogged down in just doing "stuff" that we fail to do what really counts. I wish I were there with all of you, but I'm not sure I could have kept up with the tasks you are performing. Getting old, I guess. We prayed for our AGLC missionaries at our Bible study tonight, and I continue to hold you and the rest of our group up in prayer. God is doing a GREAT thing through each of you. Perhaps there might be someone you are meeting today will say when he (she) gets to heaven, "I'm here in heaven because of the mission team from AGLC. Only God knows what an impact you will have on the people you touch this week. Just keep sowing the seeds and see how God can work. God bless your nights rest and your energy level tomorrow.

Hi, Jerry!
What a blessing you are to the Lord, to AGLC, and to the people of Guatemala. Thank you for saying "yes" to the Lord's calling, and for lending your talents and abilities to help these appreciative folks. Can't wait to hear how you have been bless by them as well. May the Lord keep you in His loving care, and be with Ruth during these days you are apart!
