I am excited about going primarily because of the opportunity to physically help a family enjoy decent housing and to make them aware that the gift they are receiving comes from the love and grace of Jesus Christ. I am anticipating providing some leadership skills and a work ethic on our mission trip. I also am looking forward to interacting with the people we meet. I know that language will be a problem, but we will have to overcome that barrier. I fully anticipate to rejoice in the experience of serving our Lord by serving others. I know the feeling that I have experience working with Habitat before and the feeling I experienced on a New Orleans mission trip after Katrina.

Your name was given to me to specifically pray for you. Although I will be praying for the entire mission group, I will hold you up in prayer each day.. I will also be praying for Chris as you two are apart. May this be an exciting experience and I'm confident you will be blessed as you see God working through you to serve the people and share His Word and love with them. If you have any special prayer needs, have Steve post them and I'll lift them up.
Greetings, Bill. Blessings to you and the others as you embark on this mission trip to Guatemala. May the Lord richly bless all that you say and do in His precious and powerful name!
Hi Bill! Our prayers have been answered by bringing all of you safely to Guatemala. Chris and Dorothy went out for breakfast after church this morning. Since Chris is leaving Tuesday we won't see her again until we return in the fall. You and the entire team continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. May the Holy Spirit be with you as you bless others through your many gifts.
Hi Bill,
Roberta said I should remind you that we are both praying for you on this mission trip to Guatemala AND that we're also praying for Chris on her "Grandma circuit" up north. The Lord's blessings to you both.
I can't imagine the excitement Ingrid and her family are experiencing as they await the completion of their new home. What a privilege you and the team have to help their family dream become a reality.
Prayers continue to be lifted up for you. It is my prayer that God would give you protection from the rays of the hot sun as well as energy and strength to bear up under the extreme conditions. I was happy to read that the team did have some "play time", as well as a meal in an air conditioned facility. I'm looking forward to your return and the opportunity to hear first hand from you of the mission experiences. Perhaps you and Chris would be open to coming to our home for dinner some evening. May God's peace and joy continue to radiate through you to others. You are such a blessing, both in Guatemala as well as in our church family at AGLC.
Hi Dad!!! I am so proud of you! You do so many wonderful things for so many people and now look at you: traveling all the way to Guatemala to help out people in dire need. It is your calling, dad, to help out the world :)
We love you and have been thinking and praying for you everyday that you are there carrying out God's work. Come home safely! XOXOXO
Greetings to you! How exciting to be able to reach out and help God's children who are in such desperate need. Lifting all of you up in prayer as you not only spread God's love through word but also through action. We look forward to seeing you soon, have a safe trip home. Phil & Jane
All this week I never knew I could post a special message just to you! Tricia just showed me this spot. You all worked so hard this week; I hope you enjoyed your free day today. I spent the week in Massachusetts and am now in Maryland. Everyone of your children and grandchildren are doing fine. I miss you. Have a safe trip tomorrow! Can't wait to talk to you. Love you!
