The show was at 10pm every night so days were free for hanging out on the beach or cruising around Benidorm. I often went for walks up to a little stone fort on top of one of the hills and would sit in seclusion on the edge of a cliff, look out at the ocean and think or meditate. 'Home' was on the 17th floor of Hotel Bali, the tallest hotel in Europe (pictured right), and my corner room had a more than 180 degrees view which included sunrise, sunset and the whole of Benidorm. If you ask people in Benidorm where to go out at night everyone will asnwer 'Penelope'. We had a few great nights there as well as the club right next door. One weeknight when it was a bit quieter we ended up showing the gogo dancers some acrobalance stunts and had a great laugh with them. The club offered to book us for an ad lib show on the weekend but their offer wasn't really viable.
