I was talking to a waiter at my hotel about his religion and he offered to take me a couple of days later,to this waterfall where Hindus come to pray.I had to wear a sarong and he showed me the whole ritual.First we kneel in front of a small shrine. He told me I could pray to my god and he would pray to his.Lighting incense and drawing the smoke towards you for calming...3 times.Then praying with your hands on your forehead..3 times.Then eating a bit of rice and pressing some on your forehead.Putting a flower behind the ear.I'm forgetting some parts now. Then you go into the water and you take water from the waterfall and pore it over your head,wash your face and drink it...each 3 times. Then you lye against the rock with the water rushing over you and pray again.And this also is done 3 times. It was a great experience strictly a "locals" only spot.
