Although they said they made jade figures here, I am not sure. When we showed up, several people rushed off to a side room, then when we were led to the working room, those were the people in there "working on" some jade. I suspect the actual working factory is somewhere else, and that this is just a sales outlet. I came across one of our group with a horse figurine in his hand -- he was intending on purchasing it. I laughed and suggested if he was going to take home a jade horse, he should make it something more substantial than that small thing. I pointed to this huge sculpture, but he just shook his head. Later, when I bumped into him again, he had purchased it. He was having it shipped to Vancouver where he would travel to pick it up. We bought some jade jewelry for the kids and grandkids.
