I have never seen a tiny dishwasher,. Conservation is done well in France. Lights in the hall are motion censored and timed to turn off. There is even an escalator that senses when you approach to turn on. At the sofitel, one must put the key card in a slot for the lights to work, ie when you leave, the lights are sure to be off.
