G 05 Flight day at Taplejung airstrip draws the villagers. It was scheduled twice a week. Most flights were out from KTM and back. But this sequence was much longer. We flew to Taplejung then to Biratnigar in the flat Terai, then back to Taplejung and Biratnagar and finally to Taplejung then to KTM. Long stressful day especially because of cumulus buildups and clouds rolling over the Taplejung strip like waves.
