During our hike in the Todra Gorge, we happened upon a Berber nomad family of four, with 1 daughter & 1 son. They live underneath the burlap tent. When it rains and floods, they sleep in a little cave that the father dug out of the cliffside with a sharp rock by hand. They also have a healthy looking donkey that helps them carry provisions whenever they make the four hour hike down to town, and a few dogs keeping watch who bark like heck when you approach.
