These are a couple of the hotel residences that can be seen from the lounge in the main hotel/resort at ``Las Termas de Chillan``. It is quite a beautiful location, although I hardly got to see much of it. The day we decided to ski was the 2nd to last day of the season. Under normal conditions we should have had clear spring skiing, however it was mostly windy and snowing hard (wet snow). I enjoyed myself nonetheless `cause bouncing down a ski hill in any condition is one of my true joys in life. My cousin and his 12 year old son, however, neither of whom have skied more than a handful of times, bailed on the skiing and headed indoors to warm up after two runs. Can`t say I blame them. As much as I had fun catching a few runs on my own, I was cold and wet by the time I was done. We didn`t stay at the hotel, nor did we have time to soak up the hot baths ('las termas') 'cause my cousin's son had to get back to town for a birthday event early in the evening, but boy would it have been nice to hop into a hot pool after a day of skiing...especially a cold and wet one.
