This palm is only found in the Seychelle Islands. It looks like a coconut, but when it is opened, the nut is shaped like the female reproductive organs. This is found on the female palm. The male palm looks quite different as you will see in the next photo. The palm exists and re-produce very much like mammals. In the photo, you will notice the smaller, round shapes ... these are act like 'eggs' that must be fertilized to produce the fruit.
