The Supreme Court Building is beautiful and the tour is well worth the time to take. I learned that when you are arguing before the S C you aren't there to convince them, but the S C is there simply to try to sway the other members of the Court who aren't planning to vote your way. That's why the questioning by the Justices seems more like a dialog amongst them than actual questions of the litigator.
