The old Old wharf of Kaikoura is in Jimmy Armers beach area (really Jimmy Harmers beach but the council cannot afford to have the Land Government paperwork done to get it legally changed to its rightful spelling) The new Wharf was made of wooden piles and lasted till 2010. then it got pulled down and rebuilt in concrete. so it is the New New Wharf and the New Wharf is now the Old new wharf. Confused? then guess what the local's feel !!!
