Buzkashi, the national sport of Afghanistan, was developed during the time of Genghis Khan to train his army to pillage and plunder. They would cut off the head of a goat and place it in a stream bed, or field. Two teams would try to retrieve it and bring it back to the start line. The one who succeeded, won.
