Buildings are being constructed at a rapid pace in all major Chinese cities. A city of a million people is a large city in the U.S. Here it is just an average-sized place. As the older buildings are replaced with newer buildings, they become more up-scale. In Beijing and other major cities, the new condos might be something you'd find in Houston.
