The mixture is pumped into the fermentation vessels, called 'washbacks'. Fermentation causes the temperature to rise and carbon dioxide gas is produced. This would not be a good time to poke your head in there! No shots of the distillery process or the cask storage -- sorry, no cameras allowed!
