Here's a major street in Parakou, leaving the Grand Marche, looking towards the SIM compound which is right next to the antenna tower. You can see that there are a lot of trees. This is a really nicely paved street, many are very potholey, others are dirt and rough, some are cobblestone, some don't even get to be called streets or roads, they're "paths". This crowd around the white car hassled us to rent it, but we only had a short walk to go!
