This is complex issue...<br>The Big Ned Kelly is not actually in Torquay, it is Maryborough, a place we visited on the way to Torquay. However we still have no idea of the connection with Ned Kelly except that he is an Aussie icon and I expect lots of places are keen to be linked to him in some way. Similarly, the new airport in Doncaster, Yorkshire is named 'Robin Hood' although Sherwood is actually in Nottinghamshire, a fair journey further south!
