unlike the other, illegal hotel, this one does have a permit and sits on the edge of the salt flats. the building itself is made of the blocks of salt, cut just like ice blocks. the floor has salt on it. the bed mattresses rest on salt blocks as well. the tables, chairs, steps, etc are all made of salt. this is our room for the night
