St. Nicholas Church is a Catholic Church built during the 19th Century in a neo-Gothic design. This church was commissioned during the heyday of Catholic Emancipation in the Netherlands. It's a pretty dominant structure in central Amsterdam and you can't miss it as soon as you walk out of the train station.
