The barren, moon-like landscape is pocked with blazing burn off valves from the gas drilling. The source of Qatar's wealth, the country has the 3rd largest natural gas reserves in the world. Not bad for a country that has 840,000 people living in it and just under 11,500 sq kms big (that means its really small by the way ).
