Greater Moravia is apparently a little controversial in the modern age due to it's importance to Slovak nationalism, particularly with regard to the creation of an ethnically Slovak state separate from Hungary. It has been viewed as sort of a "Golden Age of Slavs" in the central area of Europe, but the borders of the kingdom are highly debated.
