When we got back to San Jose , we didn't have a reservation. We followed the signs - the only worth while signs in all of Costa rica - to the Best Western Paradise Inn. It cost 69 bucks a night and let me tell you this place is off the beaten path, but, easy to find since they put up a sign about every twenty feet. It's, as you can see, well above San Jose. You need a car to get there and surely to stay there. But, the people were very nice and I'd go back
