This building is a ruin, but some people plan to restore the building and make it to a cultural centre. The architecture is quite unique. The building is situated in Drelnes in Tvøroyri,near the place where the ferry port is, the port where the ferry Smyril arrives every day from Tórshavn. There will be a consert in the Saltsilo on 15 May 2010 with well known Faroese artists and perhaps from other countries too. Among the Faroese singers are Eivor andTeitur.
