Nazareth Village is a place dedicated to recreating 1st century life in the area. It turns out it has been created on land that was a vineyard and a wine press and quarry from the 1st century have been found there. The rock you see was cut recently, but it is possible that Joseph and/or Jesus came here to buy stone for something they were building.
