A few days after shooting this Whale video in Kaikoura (NZ) we met a couple at Franz Josef Glacier who were on their way to Kaikoura and had been told that 'a few days ago' had been one of the best ever 'whale watch' days. Quite chuffed - the video is the dive of our sixth (!) whale of the day (on average you get to see two). We almost missed it as we were speeding towards some Hector dolphins, but they were not as sociable as the albatroses and whales that day so we gave up our chase. Just as well - we have played this video since shooting it, every day. http://eandxinnz.blog.ac
