Thanks, Kiran. I also love this fountain. If you walk south on Rue de la Commune O from the harbor area, it is on your right hand side. Not far from where you'd turn to see Notre Dame Basilica. Sorry, I can't remember the cross street, but it was tucket into a courtyard, behind a wrought iron gate. A calm oasis in the hustle and bustle of Montreal.

I think I found it. It is just north of 300 Rue de la Commune Ouest, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. There is a courtyard with fence, in which a fountain sits perhaps 100 feet behind the fence. Put the address into the map and see if you can see it.

Sorry, Kiran, don't know how often the gate is open. As I recall it was open when we were there.
