My students quietly walked the stairway's, halls and rooms throughout the Home in the middle of the pic, where Anne and 7 others hid out during their perilous time while hiding from the Nazi's. Even the familiarity of the story did not stop some of my student's from shedding tears as they entered the room where Anne had slept, viewing a few of the pictures that she had placed on the wall in an effort to bring a bit of "cheeriness" to her terrifying world. The museum is a solemn, yet important place I feel should be visited by all who venture close to this quaint city.
