What's the name of the church in the photo? The town looks very serene.

Hi Shannon,
just looked up a wee bit of information for you. The church is called Christchurch and is located in a town called Castlerock on the North Derry coast. It was built in 1870 from very dark basalt. The history of the church is on the following link http://www.castlerock.derry.anglican.org/html/christchurch.htm

I have heard before that the basalt came from the rock removed to create the railway tunnels through the nearby seacliffs.

The town is indeed very serene, there is a lovely long beach to stroll on and a nearby National trust land to explore.

Peter
