14 Checking out the catch. This was the second catch made that day, the first one being very unsuccessful, despite the effort taken to haul in the net. Jamie didn't even get a free fish for his trouble (nor did the local tax collector who was helping so he wasn't alone!). Personally I was glad not to have a free fish - the idea of gutting one I find quite repulsive, despite my growing tolerance to all things disgusting.
