This temple near Saraburi features a footprint that was discovered during the reign of King Songtham (1624- 1628). He faithfully believed that this must have been the Lord Buddha's Footprint. A shrine was constructed to enshrine the Holy Buddha Footprint. It is an amazing structure, and is considered among Thailand's most sacred sites. Rory and I drove our motorbikes here to explore the site during one of our weekends.
