Writing a travel blog on an adventure vacation is proving quite elusive. As much as I would like to do a day by day I am so exhausted by the time I get back to the hotel, I just fall asleep. Plus, some of my best pics are in my camera which I need to use a computer to extract. I like Mae Hong Son the best in Thailand. It is quite, beautiful, and I visited the most awe inspiring and jaw dropping cave system I have ever seen. Phuket, Patong beach is a zoo. You can't go 50 feet without being tortured for a taxt, massage, or a suit. The diving in the Similan Islands yesterday was out of this world. It was much farther away than I had anticipated as it took two hours by car and then two hours by boat just to get there, each way. We rendezvoused at Donald Duck beach and then dove Three Trees and Christmas Point. I saw sea turtles, angel fish, trumpeter fish, leopard sharks, dolphins, barracuda, and a gazillion others. I went through air a little fast, but I am still learning. I will make a chronicle with full pics soon. I miss home... (just a wee little bit)
