Going up a mountain with the usual line up of vehicles slowed down by a semi-trailer. Chicken bus passes us from behind only to be met around the curve by an equally long line of vehicles coming down the hill at a lot faster speed. Of course the conductor is hanging off the step guiding the driver. Not sure if his waving is to tell his driver it is safe or if it is to tell the other drivers to get out of their way. He isn't all the way back into his lane when the oncoming traffic starts goes by. The black cloud of exhaust from these buses is sometimes more dangerous than the bus itself. Not sure if it is worse riding on the bus or driving on the same road. I don't think there are advantages to either. Our bus isn't passing because the conductor sees some people walking down a mountain road. A couple pulls on the air horn makes them scramble which confirms they want a ride. Of course the bus seemed full an hour ago and now they just stand as they get on.
