On the north side of town La Cruz, or The Cross, sits half-way up the face of a rather small mountain (or a large hill, depending on your perspective). The hike up is pleasant enough, but on a clear day the views of Antigua are the real treat. That's Volcan Agua in the background, one of three volcanoes that encircle the city.
