This was taken in the glacier area of the east. The glaciers make their own weather and we drove in and out of rain squalls while the Ring Road was close to the glaciers. Once on the other side of the country the weather was sunnier and less variable. The coast is just off to the right side in the picture and notice the black volcanic "sand" which is mostly ash from eruptions in the past few hundred years.
