Kid on the Move: Round the world with my family

About this blog

Last month, my parents, sister and I started a year long round-the-world trip. On June 6, we sold our house in New Jersey, packed up all our things that we did not put in storage or give away to friends, and hit the road. It is strange to know that I will not go to school for a year or have my own room. I am really going to miss my best friend Matthew and my old school.

I am only 8 years old, so my parents are going to home school me while we travel. My sister, Tallulah (3) will also be home schooled, but she can't even read yet.

We are going to lots of cool places, starting with Spain, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Nepal and India, as well as the place I was born, South Africa. I am nervous but glad to be with my family. Well, ciao!
