Dear china travellers My name is wan.I am an english speaking guide . I live with my famliy in yangshuo town which is the most beautiful place. i am freelance guide in yangshuo.since in May 2005,i have passed the examination as tour guide and got the tour guide license.my number is 05--225.(it mean in 2005,my number is 225.) my guide license from yangshuo tourism bureau.i also have more than 100 pages comments in my notebook. My clients came from all over the world,mor than 20 countries .most of them came from Europe and America .before they left yangshuo ,they worte their owner language in my comments book.if you do not mind ,i would like to show you when you arrive yangshuo. if you wish to see the best part of yangshuo ,guilin ,longsheng dragon bone's rice terraces , sangjiang and east guizhou province area.i will be delighted to guide you and to arrange your stay in china . When you travel yangshuo ,longsheng rice terrace, sanjiang wind and rain bridge area, even farther places: My proposal is: 9 days/8 nights yangshuo - rice terrace fields----sangjiang---zhaoxing--kaili day 01: Our guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you at the Guilin Airport /railway station according to your flight/train schedule. then pick you up and transfer you to hotel , it is about 1.5 hours drive from airport /train to Yangshuo.after a while ,you will visit the best cave around yangshuo. In the evening ,you can go around west street in the yangshuo town. day 02 :Bicycle tour around Yangshuo After breakfast, we take a bicycle and we cycle to Dragon river. It's about 25 minutes, when we arrive, we take bamboo raft down to Dragon river. On the raft you will see the most beautiful part of Yangshuo county. The raft takes about 1.5hours. Then we head to Moon hill, we will hike up to top of Moon hill, it is about 1 hour walk with 800 steps for each way . After Moon hill we will have lunch in the Moon hill village. We will cycle back to Yangshuo through the countryside. The total time we are cycling, hiking and cycling back is about 5 hours (including resting). In the evening, we will watch the impression show, it is starts at summer time 8pm, 1 hour show finish at 9pm. Winter time start at 7:40pm, finish at 8:40pm. Day 03 : a boat cruise at the best part of the Li river. after breakfast ,We will have a taxi /by local bus to Yangdi (about 45 minutes drive/60minuutes by local bus) where we take a local boat to Xingping. This cruise takes about 2 hours. we will have lunch in Xingping town. If it is market day in Xingping, we will visit the local market. Markets change through surrounding towns every three days. This means on the 3rd, 6th, 9th etc. days of the month there is market in Xingping. on the 2nd ,5th ,8th is FuLi local market day.The local market is not a tourist market but a market for local goods. Villagers from the area come for shopping and it is always interesting. After the visit, we have a taxi /local bus back to Yangshuo after market. At 7:30pm,we will visit cormorant fishing on the li river . Day 04: Drive/by local bus to longji rice terrace fields,it takes about 3 hours/5 hours to get there by taxi /local bus from yangshuo.the rice terraces tour is the place where we can see and walk around the rice terraces, visit a mix of minorities,mostly zhuang and yao.The terraces were first built in the Yuan dynasty(about 700years ) . You will find nice wooden houses, long hair women with colorful clothes, heavy, silver hat and earrings, custom and lifestyle. Sleeping in the rice terraces village Day 05: Drive /by local bus to Sanjiang Chengyang Village,chengyang wind and rain bridge built in 1912,this 78m-long elegant covered bridge is considered by the Dong to be the finest of the 108 such structures in sangjiang county.it took villagers 12 years to build .chengyang is a wonderful base to head off into the surrounding Dong villages in the countryside. Sleeping in Chengyang Day 06: Drive/by local bus to Zhaoxing, on the way to visit one big tea farm , old wooden buildings , diping wind and rain bridge.when you hiking along tangan village. There are also ancient stone paths and wood houses in the village. Zhaoxing is an old Dong village deeply hidden in the dense mountains. The ancient wooden architecture, century-old practices, the hospitable locals and the fertile terraced fields. Sleeping in Zhaoxing Day 07: Drive/by local bus to gaozheng village to visit drum buildings,we will be congjiang county ,after lunch ,we will go to Basha Miao Village , Basha is one of special and old Miao Ethnic villages up the hill from congjiang is famous for its men who still wear period clothes ,carry swords and wear thier long hair rolled up into topknots.even young boys wear the the topknot and carry daggers.though most say these tradtions date from the ming dynasty ,others believe they may date back to the tang or song era. Sleeping in Rongjiang . Day 08:Drive/by local bus to Xijiang village, the largest Miao village and is well knowfor its embroidery and silver ornaments.(the miao believe that silver can dispel evil spirits)set in a natural basin,it's bordered by paddy fields with wooden houses rising up the hillside. Sleeping in Xijiang Day 09:Drive/by local bus to Kaili, on the way to Kaili, we will visit Nanhua Miao villge in the morning, or visit Langde village( you can see wooden houses, bridges, rivers and water wheels,and so on)then drive/by local bus to kaili railway staion or Guiyang airport for departure. The costs are very low. If you use my services as guide and mentor to me local transport and accommodation arrangements for you. I count no extra allowance. All other costs such as bike hire and entrance caves are not included. .You pay only after China.
