This was a journey we made after Vietnam...I feel that Penang is the BEST place for me to introduce Argi to the much-talked-about multi-cultural Malaysia. It is just a small island but packed with all the colourful different cultures and people of Malaysia. It is an easier way to discover and to get to know the REAL Malaysia compared to having to do that in a big city like Kuala Lumpur or some other smaller towns which has one culture more than the other. Penang is truly a gem, it is a very balanced state - you can see Indian and Chinese Temples situated side by side with a Mosque or two just a few metres away. The shop houses and pre-war buildings are vigorously and carefully preserved to maintain their original facade..Surreal
