Having read an article on Barbados a few months ago, I knew I had to go: beach, surf, diving, and hiking. What more? Turns out Kim's co-worker, Moira, will be visiting her father at the same time. He's a long-time resident of the island. Oh, and her dad worked in the Kennedy and Johnson adminstrations. For someone who loves to travel and experience history, it seemed like the perfect combination. We'll spend the first few days on Moira's dad's farm, then venture out for surf and turf.
