No real plans. No time limits. A little money. The perfect recipe for seeing the world!
About this blog
Back in early March, 2005 I left on my trip, and it's fair to say I was a little delayed in Cambodia! A teaching position in Phnom Penh offered a much better insite into the country than a whirlwind two week trip as a backpacker. It took quite a bit longer than expected, but at the end of 2005 I finally managed to drag myself out. Along with a number of eye opening experiences and no regrets.
I had the travel bug and I needed to get on the road. A month was spent in Burma, three weeks in Bangladesh and five weeks in India (West Bengal hills and Sikkim). My plan was to get to Europe, where I'd find a job.
Then it hit me. Typhoid Fever. So I've came home for a while. No worries! Just had to skip a few countries and postpone the rest!
