Southwest Trip '12

About this blog

I originally thought this would be a roughly four-month trip to the American Southwest, going to the Consumer Electronics Show and the Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show, visiting a lot of national monuments in Arizona and California, spending some time in San Diego and Los Angeles, going to the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park and skiing in Summit County Colorado. I'll still be doing those things, but the friend who joined me at Maker Faire last year decided he wanted to go again this year and I decided to join him, which means this will now be a roughly six-month trip, with stops added in Bisti Badlands, Page, AZ, Monument Valley, Death Valley, the San Francisco Bay area and Maker Faire.
