About this blog

This Travel Blog is about selling the house, quitting the job, and wandering across SE Asia. I start in Indonesia, where I'll teach conversational English to English teachers on Lombok after wandering across the island of Java. Then it's a ferry from Sumatra to Malaysia (probably Penang) then overland wandering to Johor Bahru, from where I'll fly to Borneo.

Then who knows?

In August I'll settle in Thailand. In between then and now I'll just be a Wandering_man.

So if you're a friend from back in the USA or an intrepid traveler who eats rice with his right hand and knows how to sluice shower from a mandi, you are invited to tag along in my backpack.
